Browse, filter and download the current PPG taxonomic data.

Filtering. Each column has a box under its heading. Type to show only rows containing that text (case-insensitive); the Rank and status columns are drop-down lists. Filters combine, and the search box above the table searches several columns at once.

Navigation. Click a row to select it (one at a time). Then:

  • Select None: deselect the current row.
  • Jump to parent: show the parent taxon of the selected row.
  • Jump to accepted: for a synonym, show its accepted name.
  • Show synonyms: list all synonyms of the selected accepted name.
  • Show children: list the direct children of the selected taxon.

A button is greyed out when it does not apply to the selected row.

Other buttons.

  • Show / Hide higher taxa: toggle the Class, Subclass, Order, Suborder, Family, Subfamily and Genus columns.
  • Reset: clear all filters and the selection.
  • Download CSV: download the rows currently shown (after filtering and sorting), with all columns.
